Great night at the local night. 120 total with about 80 for me, 30 for my friend, and 10 for his little brother. You guys know I'm not much of a bass fisherman, but when they flurry like tonight I love crushing them from shore with a nice medium power rod, especially when they're hitting topwaters!

image.jpeg Caught this super stubby pumpkinseed today. Caught a lot of other sunfish (Greens and hybrid green/pumpkinseeds) but only 2 pumpkinseeds. This one was awesome but I let it go. I did keep one fish a weirdly short greenseed I didn't take pictures right after I caught it though.

This was one of only 2 fish my friend caught lol. It was the biggest hybrid of the day and had some awesome colors. That is my sunfish slayer in the bottom of the picture also.

Some nice catches from this weekend below including a 14" White Bass, 22" (5.5#) Drum, 30" ~10# Pike, and 23-23" Spotted Gar. Also lost a 22-23" Steelhead after snagging the spoon in the net and a 23-24" Pike that thrashed off (caught casting a big swimbait). Plus a bunch of panfish mixed in over the long weekend (Friday to Sunday) too. Pretty good time for being stuck in the bay 2/3 days due to 20-30 mph winds!

Obviously I spent two days smashing the carp lol didn't manage to single out any of the huge 30lb's but caught some amazing looking commons find perfect and in top condition, biggest I had was 12lb 8oz.
Here's a few pics of the nice carp 20160619_090754.jpg

Went out to Sharpsville Dam over the weekend....buddy and his work friends went after channel cats, so naturally I had to throw a 1/2 ounce football jig with a super chunk trailer because I roll against the grain like that, and ended up landing the 2 biggest small mouth I'd ever personally caught at roughly 17-19" and easily 3-4 pounds, didn't get the actual measurements, I was 35 yards from shore and wasn't dragging the fish back. and also the biggest 2 fish of the day haha (weight-wise, the channel cat they caught were longer, but thin)
