Fishroom people vs. living room fish people

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
24/7 drip systems is the best thing that ever happened to me since I have fish in multiple rooms.

If i had a basement/garage/fish room i still wouldnt put all my tanks there. Those areas would be grow out, qt, or breeding tanks. But show tanks must be outside. I also take pride in my fish and appreciate the ooo and aaahs of visitors. We have a fish tank in every room of our house except ummmmmm....hmmmm oh yea one bathroom :D and only because the outlet in there doesnt work so i have no way of connecting a filter ect. But we have 2 fish tanks in our living room 2 surrounding my dinner table alone (which is in the same area as living room) , one in family room, 2 in daughters bedroom, one in a bathroom, and 5 in bedroom.

we have a 46 gallon bow front in the bedroom, a 55 gallon in the living room(in place of the tv), and a 120 gallon as a room divider between the kitchen and living room =)

haha my wife made me promise when we buy this house no tanks in the garage! To be honest i agree, my kids would never see me...plus whats the point of keeping such awesome fish if you cant enjoy them especially when you have 4-5k in fish haha. I love her, her advise was just get the biggest tank we can fit confortably in the livingroom even if you have to tear a wall down! I always say family first fish second. Currently have a240 in the livingroom with a coule monsters in it and a 150 pleco tank in the bedroom. So i guess id say LIVINGROOM guy!

Fishroom. I don't want to clog up the house with heaps of tanks or spread out everywhere and I don't have to worry about spilling water on the floor. Plus no big tanks on the 2nd storey. I like to have a room to go to and relax as well. But we still have 2 tanks inside the house
