Fishroom people vs. living room fish people

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm a living room fish guy. Especially for display tanks and for family and friends to see. But I did have my 450g set up in the garage and neighbors and their kids would always walk by and come over to see my tank. It really put a smile on my face watching the kids all cheerful observing my tank.:)

Not many people I know in RL understand or love fish like you guys. Living room or fish room, great thread.

Not so sure about the biorythm...a full moon night is actually pretty bright in nature...

In any case, no matter what I am doing in the room, my school of loaches disappear after 9:30 or so every night, to the extent that you would not know there are 30+ 2"-5" loaches in the tank.

Loaches drive me nuts that way.

my Fiance and I don't live alone...so our stuff has to be mostly in our room..sooo 9 tanks in my bed room, two in the bathroom, a few out side and One at my mother's daycare.

I love having fish to watch before bed, I probably will always have a few tanks in the bedroom..once we have our own place I bet they will be out around the house but mostly ( for ease of cleaning) they will all be located in the same area.

^yeah the wife said no more tanks to me also... or there would be one in the br.

A bedroom tank would be cool, but my wifey would put a stop to that nonsense double quick!!
^yeah the wife said no more tanks to me also... or there would be one in the br.

I got my Fiance addicted to the hobby ..now I have to tell him no we have no more space!!!! ..or debate with him where the fish is going....>.> we always come home with more fish than we intended to buy

250+ gallons in the bed room ^_^

That would be awesome to gaze at your fish til you fall asleep in your bed.. how convenient. I usually doze off while admiring fish then have to walk all the way upstairs to sleep.

You gotta have a living room show tank. Which I do and basement full of tanks. My house full of tanks and the girlfriend knew about it when she moved in. Lucky for me she likes them and even helps me feed all of them and pick new stuff up all the time from the airport when I am working.
