Cool fh, but stop power feeding her. In that big tank she will grow nicely. It looks like a short body RD, ZZ. Try to add some color to her.

Is there a guide somewhere? "power feeding"? How would you suggest adding more color? Live food (shrimp, snails or crickets) every now and then seems to do wonders.

Googled "power feeding". I guess I could cut back.

I just put a mirror up on the side of the tank. d000d

Both of them are putting on displays against their mirror selves :P

Decent Fh you got there. Sure is growing quick. Try as many tankmates as possible when Bubbles is young she will most likely be able to tolerate them when shes older. She looks like a low grade Kamalau green pearl but still awesome fish. If you want more color out of her lower the pH and if you want a big nuchal hump raise the pH.

"power feeding", according to the internet, is providing food for the fish continuously, more or less. Instead of 2-3 feedings over the day there are 4-7. The fish basically becomes an eating machine.

Speaking of eating machines. The little pleco I had in the tank (maybe 1" when I added it) is now the largest thing in the tank... and a crap factory. I can syphon daily and the bottom will be covered in pleco crap the next day. Ugh.

I'm reluctant to play with the PH, I'd rather just work with what's coming out of the tap. I doubt this flower horn will ever color up to be super impressive... but, I rather enjoy it ;) I just want it to turn into a huge ugly monster that's interactive. Hand feedings with this one are fun :)

I recently just bought 2 flower horn just like in the picture. But im setting each of them in a 10G. Any suggestion or should i upgrade the fish tank?

You'll want to find a dramatically larger tank in a hurry...
