I’m inclined to say that that is actually a rock based on appearance... is it hard or soft?

The coral was leather like but at this point is has completely melted away. Glue only thing left.
Another question. Buddy of mine had this pop up in his tank this morning. Asterina Star???

Not sure what that is...
Doesn’t look like much of anything I’ve seen before. Could be a star. May want to remove just to be safe.

Got a few new corals today. So fare these two have opened up nicely. The one is a Blasto Meretti, really nice looking.

Very nice! I love my blasto, has some of the strongest colors in my tank.
Is that a blue star polyp I see?

Ok so some help needed. Some of my corals look fantastic and some not so much. I tested water conditions today and everything looks to be fine. Nitrates 10, Cal 500, KH 35, phosphates .5, salinity 1.025
Galexia
2 Zoas/palys
Blasto
Neon maze
Blue Sympodium
All look amazing.

Trouble corals
GSP not open
Daisy Star not open
Pom Pom completely deflated
Zoa about ten polyps last few days only half are open. Today none are.

Any thoughts? What am I missing?

All the Xenia relatives are upset, so that may be related. Try a water change. That usually gets things back in order for me.
Zoas probably could use some time and water change as well.
Also move some things around, that’s one of my go tos.

I lost my green tentacle, I don’t think it’s the water conditions per say. Both of our tanks are still a long ways from established, and from everything I’ve read, need about a year. Deadeye has had his tank running for a bit longer than us and seems to be doing better with it so let him give his tank. I simply think the tanks not ready for some of the coral you have.
