yeah, I've calculated the cost of going, it would be in the 5000 range for a week or so of fishing with a guide, which is not bad. the problem is its a few plane transfers away, and even if you go, and find the babies, they'll have to last several days of travel, and risk not getting caught smuggling them out of Brazil. I'm not sure how the prisons are down in Brazil, I'd imagine a little worse than County Jail here. Remember Heiko Bleher was arrested and detained for a while a few years ago. So at the end, I've decided that this fish will still be hard to obtain...

haha...I'd do it for just a few for myself even, but the risk far outweighs the benefits in my opinion...I'd rather look for the blind unicorn fish in the cave in China instead.
