I raised mystery snails for awhile. They like warm (low to mid 80's-ish)water and about 3 inches of space above the water level to lay their eggs. Keep an air stone or something near the eggs so the popping bubbles will keep the eggs damp. They like a tiny bit of mist to keep them from drying out. They're really neat to look at. They lay a weird cluster of eggs that is about the size of my thumb. Pretty soon, they hatch and fall into the water, and you're left with this dry yuck on the side of the tank which scrapes off easily. They grow quickly, and will eat anything they can reach.
