Are you talking about the fish in the first post or the 1 my gf got me yesterday? I can see the confusion with the GATF but It wasn't ich I think it was an internal infection :/

Ok thanks, I'm going to do another WC today and I'm not sure if I should dose the sterazin just to prevent parasites?

I wouldn't dose with the sterazin unless its showing signs of parasites. this little guy looks ok to me stick with the salt for now
Sorry to hear about the goliath. New guy looks good. Don't worry about the scales too much, they should grow back within a week or so. Probably just from getting netted and brought home.

he's doing really well so far, chucked a couple of pellets in there just to see if I would get lucky and he attacked them instantly! I don't think he is actually eating any of them yet but I'm hoping in the next couple of days he will be pellet trained Scales are starting to grow back nicely. If everything keeps going well I will make a growout thread and post the link here.
