Just grabbed a few new foods and supplements to add to the mix.

Including the live plants. I realize that the Royal pleco will probably damage the live stuff. I heard they don't mess with Anubias and java stuff as much. But it'll be fine if he does. No worries.

But i grabbed up sinking pellet versions of Veggie Deluxe and Color Supreme by Dainichi.

The sinking version of Veggie Cichlid Excel by Hikari

Color and Veggie flakes by Cobalt

Seaweed Salad by San Francisco Bay (green and brown)

I also grabbed Zoecon and Garlic+ from Kent Marine to add a little kick to the soaking.

Not to mention all the frozen stuff. Daphnia, blood worms, emerald entree, spirilina brine shrimp, south american buffett, cichlid plus, wattercress.

Also, the company Elive sent a bunch of giant sample packages of 'Fusion Flakes' for us to try out. They are flat sheets of flavored food in the form of Spirilina, Blood Worms, Brine Shrimp, Krill. They have the look and texture of flat pringles chips. So i broke up a bunch of all 4 types and mixed them in a 32oz container and i plan to have that going as well.

I feel like I'm set for the next year on food. I'll be keeping an eye on experation dates and a close eye on what is eaten more vigerously and adjust the diet accordingly.

Here's the clan awaiting some grub. They have no fear of humans at all now, following anyone that gets in eye sight. You can see the red glow starting to come in nice on the fins. I also notice 3 of them have dark black tips on the dorsal. And all but 2 of them have the black spot in the middle of the body.

I also notice a deformity in the largest one. With an extended mouth area and a gap. Also some redness (not sure if it's because the fish is slowly turning red anyway or what) he is the same one that had a bone for a tail from the scunk loaches they were first housed with in the fish store. His name is Robert. Bob for short. I'll try to get more pictures of his nose.

I got a mix of winemerilli and tapajos recently(7-8 of each), and a lot of them have that ridge right now. Mine look a tad bigger than yours. I was thinking it was something do to them growing, possibly they have growth spurts length wise then fill out like I have seen happen. hope I'm right. lol

Wow, they are coloring up nicely! Hopefully your pleco will leave the plants alone, though I never had one that did...
