They look great Liz! I've always wanted to try Turtles, but I know my limits with how many animals I can handle now :D

Lol, I gotcha yah Liz. Just keep in mind that the tank will be harder to clean with gravel in it. When they get bigger you might want to switch to a larger size gravel just so they can't accidently ingest any during feeding.
thanks very much for that advice,, i really think i could use that :D:Di really wanted big rocks and some different types..still working on it... but maybe that will be my out..:D:D:D

thanks Ben..... this is enough for me too.... you should see the two fish rooms... they move...or i should say they rock... from so many gallons of water...your eyes catch a glimpse of fish moving in every direction... haha....sometimes i feel dizzy.... ;)

Great looking turtles real prretty it is nice watching them swim and bask. Won't it be hard keeping it clean with gravel ?

I ask as notice most prefer no gravel or flat shale rocks something easy to clean siphon turtle waste from.

you guys are terrific..see all this feed back is great... i learned something .... :headbang2

COOL!! beautiful painteds :) i agree with the other peeps about just having bare bottom, alot easier when it comes to tank cleaning :) i have some floating plastic plants for them to chill/hide in too maybe look at duckweed (you can put live ones, but tear apart live ones like nothing and your filter will be clog with leaves)

here are a few pictures of plastic plants if you want to use them. I forgot what they are called but the replicate some of the live ones
