Getting tired of this trend on MFK

Brutal honesty can be a little much for some I suppose.
Its like going to a dog forum and saying your dog is sick because he has been living in a closet for 3 years, fed a diet of beefheart, and has his space cleaned once a month. He can live because my buddy did it. HA! That type of arrogance gets under the skin of good fish keepers because alot of us have a strong connection with the fish we keep.

I dont see much flaming here, Alot of people on high horses that think they are gods gift to fish, (which I can partially agree with because MFK probably has some of the best fish keepers in the country.) And others who have to argue to retain new information.
Forums, Flamings, and Trolls all go hand in hand. I just try to help people who really need some advice or have an educated conversation with other hobbiests. Thats why im here. Ive riled some people up with some over opinioned statements. But hey thats life. Not everybody is going to agree with you.

when your on mfk your a teacher and a student
try your best to help the less knowledgable fishkeepers and you learn some stuff in the process
 
How'd we go from flaming to death threats and violent 1 on 1 encounters? Btw saw a video of either the same guy or similar try that at the wrong house. Getting chased by granny with a 12 gauge, hilarious. I always though stuff like that was dangerous because for every 10-20 posers you get one genuine nut. Is putting 10-20 loud mouth idiot in their place worth a body bag?

I'm not a big fan of flaming for the most part, though like many I've had my moments. If you are asking a question that's been asked I have no problem. If you insist on doing something flagrantly stupid (gold fish and bamboo sharks being a recent example) you deserve a harsh rebuke. Though doing so will not actually affect that behavior.

dude watch the whole video it is actually a promo for the dudes music, at the end he does a music vid.

Just a clever marketing tool.

Regarding the person on face book, I simply wanted to show him how easy it was to find his actual location so that he would think twice before talking smack to people.

this is exactly why people get flamed or bashed in threads. i'll admit i can get a little harsh sometimes when someone asks if x fish can fit in x gallons of water with x other fish, then bumps in 5 times in an hour. a simple search can answer quite alot of questions on this board. stickies have more info than people think
