Here are pictures of my 2000 being built: It didn't turn out to be as cheap of a project but pretty cool never the less. Its 10ft by 5ft by 6ft held together with cedar 6x6's and 40 3/4 threaded rods.

This first picture you're looking down the length of a 2in thick piece of 4x8acylic and a 1in 4x4 next to it.

Good shot of side. Note rods on far side.. they're stick out of wall 4ft.

Close up of rod and anchor-- 19,000 pull out stregth. Should be good since 2000gal is only 15,000lbs. I figure lateral pressure is a fraction of this

Dr. Joe, where are your pics? You always have stories of using fridges and crap as tanks... you gotta have something to share.

He talks about it then claims it's "Top Secret" and if he showed us he'd have to kill us :grinno:

Family guy quote: "Wait a second! Something's not right here. You were just making it look like you were playing. You're a phony! Hey! This guy's a great big phony!"

hey i think we should all gang up on Dr. Joe until he shows us some of his stuff-otherwise i'm calling:bs:(:D)

midnight-yeah just duct tape and it has now been holding for 48hrs- i know eventually it will fail but then i can just add more :)

bigbaddad-i can't claim i'm any safer but watch that power strip:grinno:. i have a power strip w/ 2 3way extension coming out of it for all the crap i'm running.

i'll try and post my final overflow pump and FBF setup for my ghetto tank tommorow- probably will try adding some goldies for feeders to see if it works, if so i'll probably clean it up and keep it goin- kinda grew attached to it over the last few weeks:grinno:
