Here are pictures of my 2000 being built: It didn't turn out to be as cheap of a project but pretty cool never the less. Its 10ft by 5ft by 6ft held together with cedar 6x6's and 40 3/4 threaded rods.
This first picture you're looking down the length of a 2in thick piece of 4x8acylic and a 1in 4x4 next to it.
