's, their so cute...Then they run out of oxygen! From the looks of those pics it sure doesn't look like there is much room for getting in and out over the top of the tank... Nice size thoughspiff;2124333; said:Yeah, I get some flak about going with the 2in. Thats what the manufacturer calls for four feet of water. I have close to 6ft of water, 8 inches over the top of the sheet. Plus, I hear that the 1.5 will bow considerably at only 4ft deep of water. My window seat is only 2in square, so I didn't want to have to worry about a seal breaking from the acrylic bowing. Others that I see using 1.5 inch usually have over twice the seat, which IMO is wasting valuable window area.
One of these days I'll buy a camera and get some new pictures. My tank has been done and filled for a while, but not much to see yet. I won't seriously deck it out until its been up for a long time to give slow leaks time to manifest themselves. Once I'm satisfied with the integrity of the thing, I'll start aquascaping. I'll probably start a new thread then.

I vote Video of you getting in and out of that thingspiff;2124654; said:You're right. Thats the main reason that I want to be sure that anything I'm putting in won't be coming right back out to do some sort of repair because its all a hassle. I have a whole porch filled with neat rocks to go in, some around 300lbs. I only wanna move this stuff once.
I am getting impatient though. Its been filled with water for quite a while now, I'm just about ready to just go for it. I'm begining to admit to myself that I can't wait a year.
It does takes a bit of acrobatics to get through the 1x2ft hole at the top. There is also a 4in overflow as well as pump returns using part of that space too.

This first picture you're looking down the length of a 2in thick piece of 4x8acylic and a 1in 4x4 next to it.
