I'm looking for more gg's if anyone is selling any.

I'm seriouly considering selling mine, I have 2 pairs but the reason I would be selling them is because they are constantly clashing/battling. There approx 15~16+ inches each. The larger of the 2 males is the most aggressive of the 4 chasing biting and nipping even the 2 females. He also has a few major battle scars. When he was much smaller about a year ago when he was 4 inches he was attacked by a Arowana that ripped him up pretty good he later developed Fin Rot which all but destroyed his dorsel fin and left some lower body damage too mainly scales. But after treatment he made a thunderous return, but his dorsel fin near did. The 2 females are approx 8 & 10 inches each. I have thought of what I should ask for them yet, but it would be pick up only.

Tequila,

As your selling them, never a better time to take the cheese test challenge;)

Y

Dude I want LESS troubles not more. I'm not sure about you and others but some people I have spoken with in the past feed their fish 2~3 times per week, I feed mine 2~3 times per day along with a head of Romain Lettace per week or other greens. Plus spring is just around the corner so soon I'll be breaking out the Tequila Shovel and heading for the park to unearth monster earthworms for them again. I may even try throwing them some leeches, crawfish and snails this year too.

I just got myself another piece of GG. My friend was like clearing his tank due to over stocking his tank and thus I voluntored to adopt this fella into my current tank which is already housing two. Check them out anf they're doing fine without aggression towards each one another.:headbang2

Breaking out the old patented shovel again eh? Sounds like your still torn between keeping them or selling them if your planning foods for this year ahead;).

They do look rather cool when they are doing the locked lip dance but I can appreciate the problems that arise from that. I hate it when our GG chases the big dollar around the tank, never tries anything more than a chase but I do feel sorry for it when the gg goes off on one. Your right as well higher protein foods seem to increase aggression. I'm going to try more fishing baits as food this year as well, if it ever stops raining
:irked:

Feeding: twice a day when I'm off and once a day when I'm working. Lettuce leaves in the morning and the chopped pineapple and mango in the evening. Flake foods for the smaller moonlights. If I'm working roughly the same but more leaves and less of the chopped food in one sitting. The leaves then tend to get picked at over time after the chopped food has gone. Then again I've only got one and not the 4 :nilly:

Well... I dunno about the girl thingy. But I guess the other big aros in there are controling the aggression in them. So far tankmates in there are co-existing in harmony.

I don't wanna say anything that we make you or anyone else feel bad. When I figure out a price for all I put into them. And I see someone driving up with the buckets that will be required to handle them then and only then will I look for a buyer for my Shovel and any future plans for feeding the Titans.

here's a couple updates on mine, the RTGG is starting to pick on the pink as he grows, nothing to bad..a few shoves here and there, but you can see the torn fins.

I think at this point that a fare price looking around would be 1K for all 2.2 aka all four fish.
Anything less I mite as well just or eat them, people when I say eat them I do not jest, more than 65% of the apartments where I live are Asian, more than 95% of the people I know are Asian. I hear that these fish are quite the favorite in Asia. And I am quite the food tastier, as long as it isn't the innders of something I will try it.
