Going down the poly worm hole…

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I’d suggest levamisole or febendazole with repeat dosing.

Much appreciated ??… levamisole was always popular in the “ray scene” for being very safe to use. Will def. get some on order and continue to give these guys a “proper” quarantine.

So that substrate is half garnet and half...something else?

It looks great, much more attractive and natural than straight red garnet. :)

Its full garnet (barton 36 cg)… by half… i meant half covered tank floor. It is very attractive tho i agree. “Variegated” from ruby red colored all the way to pieces of black. Pics def. dont do it justice. I havent tried playing with the lighting yet to make it pop/show it off more. Its more burgundy overall in person which i like. Never been a substrate fan but this stuff is well worth the money. Its finer grit than i expected but very heavy for the size. The 3 gal tubs weigh 55lbs. Goes a long way as well, i ordered alot more than i needed for this tank and a 500g.

Bit of a surprise during my morning “turd removal” services today ??… initially had a scare of bloat… took me a cple seconds to realize the more probable cause ??… PBB #3 had a taste for Endli… 15” PBB vs. 8” Endli ?‍♂️… #Cannibal … Looks like i need to get the 500 ready for the biggens sooner than expected. -1 to the pile… wish he could have at least eaten the CB over the WC tho lol…

That's the problem with cohabitating multiple predators, or multiple aggressive bruisers. It works out fine for days, weeks, months, maybe years...and then one day you find this...and there's no going back.

At least with mega-mouths like apurensis or RTC's or others of that ilk, it's never really a complete surprise...you just sort of admit that you always kinda expected it to happen. But these guys just don't have that "look".

That's a bitter pill. :(
