Understand the only species it can be from the lac group is australis, the rest, from what we know, have the U shaped under jaw. But having 6 pores discloses australis. The wolf in question certainly doesn't have, it has a V. Again the folds only touch on small specimens. Like 5" and under. You can consider other species in the mala group like microlepis etc.
Mala is said to have many species under it due to so much variation. I find it hard to believe mala only has 4 pores. Can't say I recall seeing that.
