good starter car?

ha g35 looks sick. kinda looks like my dads Z. anything different under the hood?

i saw an add at a dealership for an 05 Evo IX with 30000 miles for 16000... not bad of a deal i say.

My first car was a '97 Camaro z28. Suited me well, I smoked all the ricers and the fart-cans.

haha An evo is nice too, i LOVE evos but i can't get one yet, haha if you can get it jump on the deal!

Having built cars for honda and mercedes..

I say Honda. The attention to quality control and specifics is 10-fold with Honda.
These cars are simply well built and last a long time. Expect few if any problems with Honda.
 
I'm on the bandwagon of getting a cheap crappy car to start with. I've seen too many start out in nice cars and turn them into crumbled piles of metal.

Start with a car that runs well, but might not be the best looking thing on the road. Drive it a year or two, then upgrade to a car you really like.
