As far as catfish go A tig would be my recommendation too. There are a lot of other fish that are equally as cool as catfish. I have a small school of large loaches, a stingray, and datnoid. Probably the longest lasting tankmates I’ve had with an Arowana. For whatever reason Arowana can turn on their tankmates even after years of being together or the tankmates can turn on Arowana. It could be a whole lot of lengthy experiments.
