LOL, just checking. I made the mistake of putting my 7"er in w/ some other fish that I didn't think were aggressive (4-lined pim).tim85851;1708114; said:i will NOT put my aro in that 20gal with cichlids...i might get some community fish to clean up left over flakes...and that algae eater that is in his current tank will move in with him...lol...
dayum, that'll be sick if you pull it offI have 6 baby silvers, when i got them they all had egg sacks,I started feeding them the day i put them in there tank and they ate like pigs. Two weeks later the egg sacks are almost gone and they are doing well. They are in a 60 with no other fish and will go into a 365,where i have hopes of getting a pair out of them.
add a heater to the 20 gallon then aftre putting the aro in a bag remove the cichlid and stick them in the five gallon or something then stick the aro and heater into the 20 gallon tank after floating the aro for a little while.tim85851;1708384; said:is there a certain way i should introduce my aro into his new environment? i dont want to just dump him in the tank and have him get shocked...should i float him in something to make sure the temperature difference isnt that bad? currently the 20gal doesnt have a heater and i think thats the reason my cichlids are not eating...i will probably pick up a heater or get one from a friend tonight...
