water lettuce is nice, also amozon swords will make it seem more like the amozon and they look nice.
Got a baby Arowana with eggsack...questions!

as said before you dont need to feed until the sac is gone. aro are very shy and pron to stress at this size. i would avoid doing anything major to the tank that would stress him, example putting a net in there to get one little baby guppy out. good lucky hope he makes it
I would take the light out. For my aro the light tends to freak him alot. I got mine maybe a little smaller then yours with yolksac..I think for me it was pretty much luck. Right now my aro is about 6 inches. Don't feed him any food until he absorbed the sac in. After that try some quality flakes or bloodworms..Goodluck..you'll need it

i'd remove the light or he might get frightened and hurt himself.

i think hes cool with the light...i keep it on at night and turn it off during the day...its an incandescent bulb which is giving off some heat and helping to regulate tank temps...the light only lights up one side of the tank...
i just got back from the petstore and bought some water lettuce, its sitting in my cat tank rinsing under the filter in the cycled water...dont want to mess up ANYTHING!!!
after i put all the water lettuce in the tank, there should be more shelter for him...
the guy at the fishstore told me to give my aro small amount of flake food...i tried it and he ate a couple of the flakes that were falling to the ground...starting him young...lol
oh one more thing...last night before i went to sleep i saw my aro chasing the guppy! it was pretty cool...he chased the guppy because it was near the surface of the water but when the little guppy swam down my aro tended to stay near the surface and forget about it...
more advice and tips would be great!!! any and all input is welcome!!!

thanks people!!! i just put the water lettuce in his tank...it sorta spooked him but hes swimming around the surface and is still the same! im glad! hope he gets big fast!!!
would anyone know how long it will take him to absorb the eggsack?
