Got a baby Arowana with eggsack...questions!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hello all.

I used to be a salt water aficionado but after taking a look at the arowanas i got hooked by them . so i got a 55 gl tank with a 6 inch silver arowana and 2 babies with egg sack , they are separated by a piece of acrylic and doing fine after a week

My question is the colo rof these two babies, the size is aroun 2 inches with a black stripe across the boddy and also the fins are a mix of clear and black , i was told these are silver but i think they might be black arowanas , ill get some pictures when i get home

i also need to start looking at pictures cause i dont have a clue about setting on fresh water tanks

Thank you

i think you tried to start your own thread but ended up posting on mine...
but pics would help a lot...

throw in a buncha feeder guppies
so when the egg sack is gone he can eat the guppies
and that way u will no when he can eat pelets and stuff
and you will see him go for those guppies when hes ready
thats all mine ever did
