Better off just staying with 45 colt. Put a 160 grain lead cast bullet over 8.0 grains Trail boss powder and you have on you hands something that would work really well in that thing. 5.5 grains Clays powder under a 200 grain is also a good short barrel pistol load.
Really want the best out of it reload for it.
