I'm just glad you got me motivated to play around with this because I finally have a use for all these small pvc sections I have layin around. I run a custom fly rod business and I ship all my rods to my customers in pvc tubes for protection during shipping. So needless to say I have tons of 6" to 2' long sections of pvc left over that I have had no use for....until now lol

Soon as I get some more time I want to do one with a Y piece of pvc where there are two opening on one end. I think that would be neat.

i got one in the works atm for some of the bigger cichlids. Itll be a couple days before its done though

I use the same pain I use on all my 3d backgrounds I make, that way I know there will be no issues. Rust-o-leum painters choice that bonds to plastics.

OUTSTANDING work gentlemen! I am thoroughly impressed by the work in this thread, and more than a little inspired.

This concept could be reverse engineered to camouflage plumbing for those of us running larger PVC pipes without a proper overflow.

Mine were just passed over with a torch in spots to darken areas.

These look amazing! I have never used a grinder, but would be worth trying for these. My first aquarium project in the garage was a test tube rack I finished today
