I've got a 230 gallon for one. Would you be interested in shipping out to me :)

I have no experience shipping arowanas, so I wouldnt risk it. Also shipping airport to airport would cost just as much as the fish. You sure no LFS sells greens? You should ask some of the members from Alberta on arowanaclub.ca.

I've been looking on local Alberta and on BC websites as well, I'm pretty frequent to LFS', so a no go on that route:(

I'll definitely check out arowanaclub.ca

I got a quote to have a HBRTG shipped from Toronto, so shipping isn't that bad.

A couple years back a Big Als had some Greens in, but I cheaped out and man am I kicking myself in the @$$ big time for it.

I have one 300watt in each 230, and its in a heated floor + heated fishroom, my tanks rarely drop below 26 Degrees.

Just curious. Im finishing off my commercial pilots license so Im looking forward to flying them very soon. Tell your dad to hurry it up with the 787s.

Thats my dream!!! (becoming a pilot) but it turns out differently after highschool :(

Anyway,

Its $138 per Green Arowana in Toronto atm!

and

its a risk of shipping them in winter, cause of the bad weather, snow storm, delay... it may end up as an arowana icicle

Fish + shipping, around $250 or LESS, but no guarantee it will survive the trip... its COLD!! o.o

Wait till spring time! ^^ Even if your local fish store or yourself ordering one online, it will take up to 2 months before the fish is being allow to be import into Canada! ... JUST WAIT! :D

lol yea wait til spring its almost spring =D
