Green Arowana!

greens rock ... but every fish has their own individual merits... for me... i like greens .. i used to see them swim wild in the rivers back in my hometown when i was a little s#!t so that has always stuck in my head.. love em

btw how old is you BBXB? can share some pix for us? if you're looking for a green arowana i suggest that you pick the classic colored ones, the one with a horse shoe patterns on their scales, if you dont want that you can pick the hybrid greens (XB/GREEN) i think KAIJU farms sell those type of greens.

nowadays even green's arowana coloration is improved by selective imbreeding by asian arowana farms, even they do this to those banjar reds ( so you will see less pink banjar reds ) so you can see a banjar red with a blood of 75% grade 1 red and 25% banjar red. they look cool.

Its about 6 months old, and pushing 11". You sure know your stuff. One question, how do I tell the difference between a true purebred green, and not a hybrid one?

What do you mean by hybrid green? If you mean like a 1.5, then it would be pretty obvious.
