growing ntt's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
For me I never had ntt that small to be on pellets. My ntt were at least 6 inches when they competed for sinking massivore pellets with bichirs. You can always use baby oscars and feed them baby floating pellets. After the training is done, you can always donate the oscars back to the lfs.

Doesn't hurt to give it a try. Worst case scenerio is they will be trained to take dried krills/shrimps/bloodworms with the convicts. I have no clue if the sex of convict makes any difference when it comes to feeding.

yes they are i have had pretty, i keep getting rid of some and getting new ones lol. i dont no why people like to get them on pellets is it because its cheaper? live feeders is more natural in my opinion

Okay so I added the baby convicts around 1-1.5" and they immediately begun to eat what the dats don't eat. Not even 5 minutes and one dat and one convict are peckin at each other....hopefully everything works out tho and I don't wake up to dead fish hahaha.

OH I just don't like to like purposely feed fish other fish for food. Like I remember starting out my hobby by breeding guppies and raising the babies...good times. Kills me to feed them to another fish ya know? Even tho it's supposed to be natural.
Plus it's less troublesome I guess and costs less.

i have to clown loachs in with the 1-2" NTT's and when i feed the loachs bloodworms the NTT's eat them to, but still perfer the guppies or baby rosy's
