Guess what I got!!

Hey guys soooo just picked up somthing from a store nearby called urban zoo can you guess what it is?

A giant goldfish out of Lake Erie!

Yeah Kelly_Aquatics , keeping a Savanah Monitor was pretty cool. He was a big dude and he would eat very well too. I fed him mice/rats, crickets, cockroaches, palmetto bugs and Anoles (small lizards that are everywhere in Florida). It was fun watching him hunt down the crickets and Anoles lol. I had to re-home him during a move unfortunately.

So if your squeamish maybe don't watch the video. I fed him a frozen thawed mouse (Its just a treat 1-2 times a month to add to his diet)

The only thing that would deter me from large reptiles is not having the heart to feed them mice.

Deadeye ya he does not need them but I like to vary his diet since in the wild they are scavengers. I have moved away from the dog food (Even though people say its fine) and am feeding a more natural diet.

I had a WC mangrove monitor about 25 years ago that would only eat live mice n lizards. That was pretty bad

That makes sense. I can’t imagine how even dogs like eating that canned stuff.
