OP... put a FH in your tank.. that will put some pep in their step LMAO i see my lazy pleco running from mine all the time.... your plants will get shredded though....and i just noticed your tank isn't big enough for an adult... nm good luck!!

it was a joke anyway i don't want his catfish to die... i meant it would cause movement when they are running for their lives like my pleco does....How long have you had your gulper? I just got 3 of the 3-4 inches that Jeff Rapps had Thursday. They all swim very actively around the tank. They swim constantly, does this have something to do with them being young fish?
I had a flowerhorn, I think it was a red dragon. He was fiesty too. Gulpers are gonna eat whatever they can. Im not saying that flowerhorns arent mean fish and would terrorize them. But im saying that there is a chance that the Gulper could eat the FH most likely
