Haitiensis Growth Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You will know when the time is right. They pair up easily. When there ready to spawn, and giving the others a hard time. Then you can remove the rest.
I do like hiding places in my tanks with juveniles.
Thanks for the tips. Your channel on YouTube was the first time I ever saw the Haitiensis thanks for the inspiration!!!

Ha! I love it.
Looking good my man!
Even got a comment from the man himself MrWoods!
She says it allll the time. We watch fish videos on YouTube on the family tv after dinner sometimes. Andy is favorite channel for the family. They even name our fish now lol

Might add some more pothos to the overflow. Idk if they're using up the nitrates that are being created but I'm sure more won't hurt

**Quick update**
Alright family, so after almost exactly 3 weeks of feeding nothing but pellets and basically starving them they finally took the pellets in pure black Nasty fashion this morning. I think they were eating them off of the substrate after I would walk away and they realized that I wasn't dropping anything else in during feeding time. I added a pinch full of food in this morning and they aggressively engulfed the food like I'm used to seeing them eat. Finally I have some greedy nasties again!!!!!

He's putting on some noticeable size and girth. They've really started sprouting since they started accepting pellets. I have them on .5mm NLS Thera +A and fluval bug hits cichlid formula. They get those Monday-fri, frozen bloodworms or frozen brine shrimp on Saturday, and fresh scallops on Sunday. Sometimes I skip a day or two during the week.

Looking really beautiful man! Love the blues on that guy.
Thanks chief!!!! They've recessed a little bit since I stopped feeding them spirulina lol. They were almost looking like dovii at one point lol. I might play around with their lights to see if I can make them pop a bit more

Awfully jealous of you right now man, awesome fish. I don't know how much longer I can resist getting some
