I would just leave both on...doesn't hurt. In fact, you can buy some porthos from any store, take it out of the pot, Rinse off the dirt and stick the roots in the 400's box, let the leaf just grow out of warer...it will help with lowering your nitrates.

Okay cool I'll have to pick some up gotta go to the fish store anyway. Btw ecoli since the hubby saw your tank guess what were doing??? You got it changing our whole tank around getting drift wood and all instead of the decorations we have now. Lol. Would show you but I still can't post pics.
