18 pound king salmon with 8 pound power pro, on a pfluger pres. spinning reel on a 6'6 walleye rod, in raging river conditions right next to a dam

Once fished out 30 feet 342 pounds green leafed logfish out of the river it was hardest fight i ever had! Just kidding it was a 11lbs redhorse and it took me 40 minutes to land that monster sucker. Its on wall right now.

Mines was 34 inch long and are full of eggs. When I brought her to the bait store, everyone thought my redhorse was asian carp...and nearly broke state record by few ounces less than record greater redhorse. Actually there are lots of monster redhorses in the Mississippi river, even bigger than 12 pounds ones. There are lots of state record redhorses have broken in recently years in Minnesota. Minnesota record greater redhorse was broken three times.

cool we got alot of big ones here in MI as well

A Big Steelhead Trout on a Micky Mouse Rod,it was a bet that I couldn't land one with it.. I thought the reel was going to break...I fought it with literally 0drag...lol
Tons of Funny! I highly recommend giving it a try.

dang that would be a hard fight

mine would be an 18 pound coho on a trout rod and old 5 pound test line
