Has any one kept texas cichlids with peacock bass

Considering a texas cichlid as a tankmate for a kelberi or other smaller species of peacock bass, anyone ever do this? How did it turn out?
Also considering severum, vieja, or really any type of large colorful cichlid to go in other than the typicall silver dollars or catfish, bichirs etc.. any suggestions please help

Since kelberi (and most P bass) are from the soft, pH 7 or lower waters of Amazonia, as do severums, they are least reasonably compatible

and Herichthys (the Texas cichlis complex) nornmally prefer hard, pH 8 waters (and above) of North and Central America (as do Vieja) they are not as compatible in water chemistry .
