I have had thermometers fail... I still use the cheap glass ones but I now use an infared by snap on to check there acuracy. Make sure the temp is what it is. Do u have another thermometer? if not there only a few bucks. Check that first and if its still good then just leave the fish alone. As long as the water is clean and the temp is stable you should be golden.
