HELP!!!!! Flowerhorn in Danger if dieing!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Heat actually helps a fish digest food. Thats, Usually, why they eat soo well when the temp is up.

I would leave it alone. As others mentioned, it's stressed from the swing.

Making it swing again will just annoy your FH more and make it more uncomfortable.

Fish like stability in their water parameters.

Only thing I would look out for is if it looks bloated(bulging stomach).. It could have got bloat/hex when the temp was down and could be why it's not eating.

ok first change 100% water of your tank. Heater at 86oF = 30oC. a little nautral salts in. And let's him be hungry a day. Don't feed him.
if you still have question, ask me

yeah just a little shocked from the sudden temp change. just give him a few days he will pull through. fh are some hardy fish.

R u sure 100% water change???

DO NOT CHANGE 100 % of your water. if you want to make sure your fish dies from stress, do that. never change 100% of your water. in an emergency 75% is max. i do 50% at a time. if there is a problem i will do daily PARTIAL 25-50% water changes until it is better.
ask other people if you are not sure. 99% of people will tell you never change 100% of your water

there is no reason to change 100% of the water. even if you have a seperate tank, you should never change that much water. your fish is stressed. catching it and moving it to a different tank will just add to that. your fish has a better chance of recovery if you do nothing than moving it to a different tank or changing 100% of the water. if you feel that you need to do anything, try a 25% water change so you don't make things worse.
