so, just checked the nitrates again, still through the roof. checked tap water, fine, checked it warm, also, to make sure it wasn't the hot water heater, just incase. ran tap water through my python to check that (it is pretty yucky looking, it was all negative. checked my angel fish tank, nitrates also higher than h*ll. but they are all perfectly healthy. On a lighter note, my big guy is no longer having the swimming problem, but looks burnt and peeling, and still won't eat. I am going to take the carbon out of the filter. I have some pothos, I can put in there. Water changes, so far have failed to bring down the nitrates at all. And I probably shouldn't do one right at the moment, should I, since I just put in the prime about 3 hours ago? Just did one yesterday at about this time.
