about 60% when water change. let me look at the bottom of my box, maybe my test stuff is no good......
no expiration date anywhere, but if it was bad, why wouldn't my tap water be reading the same, it reads perfect
if this is correct, then my stuff is way out of date, it is at least 6 years old, was given to me by a friend, so i wouldn't be surprised if it was 10 years old
Supposedly the last 4 numbers on the bottle is the manufacturing date (month year) but I find that hard to believe since I recently bought ammonia test since I ran out. On the bottle it say 1008 and 0806 depending on which side you look at. Seeing as how its brand new I find it hard to believe Petsmart is carrying several year old product that sells frequently.
Just for the heck of it I would buy a fresh nitrate test.

yes, I am gonna go get new one tomorrow. but.......my tap water tested perfect? but what is 5 bucks, as opposed to losing my buddy?
