Help ID my blue acara/green terror

At that small they can be confused with each other. But if i had to guess i would say BA. the body shape just doesnt seem to fit for me as a GT
 
It's a blue acara.. no one can tell you which sex because they can't be sexed from just looking at them. You need to vent.

the general census is BA. That eing said - does anyone know of any reliable places to obtain a GT in the UK - cumbria. as i am finding it very hard to get any CA/SA cichlids at all. Thankyou.

um.. you should be able to get GT in any LFS... they are one of the most common cichlid species out there.

oddball express...type it into aquarist classified and it will come up with a stock list...pretty sure they have some f1 saums in now at juvi sizes....contact ross, iv had a trimac off him
 
I still say Geophagus Brasiliensis. I've never had a Blue Acara (seen them) but I have both the saum and the brasiliensis and I'm almost certain that's what it is.
