Yup, one of Australian eel-tail species. Pretty rarely kept but they pop up every now and then. T. t. is often kept out of these. I'll trust the guys above on the species ID, as I'd need to look them up.
 
I agree with cogs. Google images shows that it is more likely to be neosilurus ater than a tandanus tandanus. Neo have narrower mouth.
You may very well be right. I didn't look into it to much. I'm no expert on them. As tbtb said to be sure of the exact species I'd have to read a little as well, while I'm a little familiar with the group not so much. I trust kno4te though so agreed with him. But we can all be wrong from time to time. Thanks for the brief explanation in why you think that's the correct species

Very neat. Aussie catfish are quite rare outside of Oz. Cool find.
