Alright cool, thanks. I am letting the back of my 10 gallon practice tank dry with flat black. And I filled it with my new sand for a whoooole little test tank haha. I'm very excited.

Just realized how much fun it is and that there ARE alternatives to LFS prices.

Does it matter between flat black or gloss?

Personal preference really, either will work. I personally prefer the flat, that way there isn't any glare and it makes you focus more on what's in the tank rather than the back wall.

Does latex or oil based make a difference? I know the video recommends oil, but has anyone ever experienced the two?
