Personally I would just let this batch develop naturally and see how it goes.

I've spawned a few batches from my Green Terrors and honestly the parents do a much better job than we can do. That being said, if the Dempseys start showing interest in the fry then you probably need to separate them if you want to develop the fry.

I had a female Salvini for a short stint and she was just too aggressive. She would hide all day until another fish got close and would bust out, bite their fins up, and go back in hiding. I had to turn her over to a LFS. I love their colorations though, very beautiful.

I would be worried about the JD’s .cichlid pairs guarding fry is some of the craziest non stop highest level of aggression you will ever see.
