1 the problem was not a heater problem like they tried to tell me. The Goldfish were dieing too.
2 I honestly can't say. I might have walked out with some, but I didn't have over $400 dollars to buy fish.
3 the fish that survived are doing good, about 2/3 of them survived.
You can be as civil as you want, what is wrong with helping a living creature? Everyones problem with you (I think, tell me if I'm wrong) is that you would have left them to die, and are blasting me for trying to help. And in my little feel good post, I am trying to get peopled riled up enough to write Walmart, to let them know how they feel.
Why don't you go do some of those good deeds you were talking about and stop bashing people who care.

I NEVER BASHED YOU! I made a simple comment questioning how it was any better, and I GOT BASHED! Left them to die? You have no idea what would have happened. What was the problem then, since it wasn't the heater??? Everyone's problem with me is I would have left them to die? Do you save every fish you see in tanks for sale that appear to be in distress??? Like I said, you have no idea what would have happened. I used to service some of Walmart's systems, and when they had a problem, we headed that way, period. Whatever this "problem" was could have been as simple as a float getting stuck. And I am doing some of those good deeds, pal. RIGHT NOW AS A MATTER OF FACT!! So thanks.....

Nobody thinks they're "the most ultimate fishkeeper in the world". This is a discussion board, genius. Everything on this site is of perception, opinion, and experience. In my opinion, this is no better than where they were. You don't know any more than I what the real problem was at the store, as you don't know how many would be dead in either's hands. This does pertain to me, as it pertains to you or anyone else that wants to reply. Don't flip your lid and be an ASS. Make this a poll, then see how many agree this was a "GOOD DEED".......

I don't know what the problem was, but suspected it was bacterial, since there were no visable signs of disease. If you saw the tanks, cloudy dead fish and dead fish pieces, would you be bashing the thread? I try to do what I can. We have wound up with to many animals, many times. I took quote 4 as a joking around. You are not my pal.

I can not see how trying to make a difference, and trying to get others to make a difference is a bad thing. The bashing came, because of the let them die attitude your post portrayed, wether that was what you were going for or not. Do your good deeds involve you geting paid, or did you take care of Walmarts tanks for free?

No sir, Walmart's tanks were not free, that was my job. My "good deeds" (though I don't like to think of them that way) have definately not been for money. I used to look at things the same way you are now. I would try to save the world (regarding the well-being of animals). It really doesn't work that way. Sometimes it backfires. That's when I felt really bad. I've stated my point, so I'm not going to press it on you again. I wasn't flaming you or trying to incite a riot. As you said, the bashing came from "your side". Re-read my original post. There was no flaming involved. I reacted to a couple others shooting at me. I apoligize for over-expressing my opinion, but I won't stand back and let someone take shots at me when I was simply stating my thoughts, just as everyone else has that responded (we all have that same right). I,ve helped people and animals and had it backfire too, that doesn't mean stop helping, and I'm not trying to save the world, just do my part. My comments were more for Popcorn1, but they do fit you to a point.
