I use ADT to secure my home.

the saiga is nice but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3WFdzN-0Dc&feature=related even a chick looks bad ass with an sks....

or if someone with training is handling this gun he can take out the intruder in his own hallway, his neighbors hallway through a window, or the guy that lives down by the river in a van trying to pick up little boys. i think the high power wins. alot less chance of killing innocent bystanders, simply because people that have high powers dont feel confident with them till they have spent alot of time practicing so they can hit what they want. where any average joe picks up a shotgun once, blows the hell out of something 20feet away and feels like a pro.

guns dont kill people. stupid mother f*****s with guns kill people.

Shotguns with #4 buckshot will carry through six drywall boards. A .223 can easily pass through 12 drywall boards. Even frangible bullets pass through walls.

A shotgun with rounds other than buckshot make good home defense rounds. Buckshot over penetrates. #5 shot does horrendous damage to soft tissue at 15 yeards or less. Must home encounters are at a much shorter distance.

You should not be worried if your using the correct ammunition and have the training to know how to handle these situations.

Why should you not be worried? Bullets pass through walls. What are you shooting that can't penetrate dry wall and yet will stop an intruder?
You know where your family is in in an apartment perhaps, but then you are dealing with outer walls to neighbors. Same with a home. What percentage of the gun owning populace has the "training" to handle these situations?

most enuthiest can out shoot cops anyday. ever watched those cop shows? 2 cops empty thier clips and nobody gets hurt:ROFL:

What is an enuthiest?

I also have a Persuader Mossberg ( and a couple of others ), but my point is that a thug, whose life style is thugging, is more prone to shoot an armed person than an unarmed person.

Shooting people is not as easy and straightforward as typing about it in a computer.

Exactly my point.

My home defence consists of a nylon tripwire and a fishing net on my ceiling.

o' rly?

Most thugs are cowards and run with their tail between their legs when faced with an armed "victim."

Its a fact that in the US armed violence is highest in places where fewer people own guns. I think that is a little more then a coincidence.

Perhaps thats because less people have guns in densely populated areas. Compare a 10 sq. mile area in a city to that of a rural area. I bet per household the rural area would have more weapons. And obviously there is more violence in cities to begin with.
