The NRA provides a variety of classes at minimal expense which any firearm owner can benifit from.

Gotcha, I assumed you meant more specialized training.

I don't see anything about penetration after going through a side of beef...Which would more accurately represent an aimed shot rather than a miss... Anyhow interesting...

Certainly makes me more likely to use my 45 / 70 sharps though :)
 
i believe the reason why shotguns are more popular is purely price, and most people are more familiar with shotguns than tactical rifles
