Home fire, 600 gallon acrylic tank melted

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no word from atm other than good luck, I will run it by the producers etc etc. I gave it a shot and going to forge ahead without them, talking to midwest custom aquarium to build a tank and planning the fish room amoung the other rooms too

That is horrible, sorry for your loss. Stay strong and take care of your wife and kids, everything else will work itself out.

Sorry for your loss. Good luck on starting all over. Only time can heal this type of loss.

This should be a lesson to all of us. Double check your fire alarms, electrical wiring, and have a fire escape plan. Make sure you are using GFCI outlets.

On a positive note, thank God your family is ok.

Dude that is terrible. Good luck on rebuilding and such, it may not feel like a good idea but get a dog first, itll really help your daughter more then anything

This happened to a friends house when i was young, ever since we keep about 5 fire extinguishers strategically located around the house, one in each of the bedrooms, one in the kitchen.

I am very sorry for all of your losses, that is very hard to go through. There was a house that burnt down in our neighborhood a few months back who also lost their pets, I really feel for anyone who has to go through that. I am happy that your wife and daughter made it safe. That is a nice piece of property you have there for a fresh start! I wish you the best of luck with the new land and future place! Keep us updated and have fun planning your fishroom!
