How are everyone's Beani doing?

Just to follow up, I just took this picture of one of mine:

I have been keeping my beani's in a community setting, and fooding them everyhing amazingly with great results. I now know that the bigger they get the meaner they it. So what works when they're frys will change when they become adults, so keep the divider's ready....
Also don't be afraid to give them variety in they're diet and make sure you give them room to roam and you should be alright. Some before and after shots of my beani's

The bottom picture is the same fish that is eating the worm above and how big he got from eating the worms in the third pic from the bottom!!
Just Food For Thought.....

prettypicky, OMG THE FONT!

Nice beani

I'm curious as to what size tank and what filtration the people who are having beani die on them have. Bloat is not as common as one might think. Septicemia exhibits some bloat-like symptoms. Herichthys and Nandopsis are prone to it under adverse (underfiltered, undersized) aquaria conditions. I think a lot of "bloat" is actually misdiagnosed septicemia. That's my opinion from my experience. Don't everyone tear me a new one because you disagree. Just food for thought. You may not like this, but if you can't keep a fish alive doing weekly water changes, something else is wrong with your setup or your water is garbage.

I have 2 of them at 2" and everything is going well so far. At what point does everyone think they are out of the 'danger zone' for bloat?
