Just get a tank for him and place him in another room. Problem solved.... You still have your fish... Just in a different room lol.

Orandas are cool. I like Red Caps and Calicos, but I definitely wouldn't have only them. I can't imagine changing my 220 Frontosa/Hap tank to fancy gold fish.....but, hey its your stuff and your call.

Sometimes with fish like that it's easiest to just catch it with your hands and gently move it from the tank into a cooler. A lot of times they won't thrash at all. Any way you do it, you will get some water, though. I usually just go for it and clean up the mess afterwards.

Take 50% water out Use minimal light, get into your swimsuit and coax em in the bucket gently with a large net...Done.
Keep him. We all like puppies, but we all love lions. Iv got 4 or 5 puppies in my 330gal, but Iv also got some bala sharks and other non goldfish for when I get bored with nice fish. And yes they are puppies, you can hand feed 2 of them, play with the other one. And my lion? I got a snapping turtle
