Is that salt water? NO. :screwy:
Why don’t you get salt water? I DON’T WANT SALT WATER. :banhim:
Looks like a salt water tank. (?). :banher:
Why don’t you like salt water fish? CUZ I LIKE FRESH WATER FISH! :wall:
Now when asked “is it a salt water tank” I just say yes. No one knows the difference. :shakehead

Well with most kids i show them how they feed. Of course if i know some one is visiting, i starve the fish the whole day until they come, so the feeding will be more interesting. They usually go wow!!! And ask about a trillion times if they can feed them.

With people my age (mid teens).
They usually say, "what's that fish with the green and red?"
I say
"green terror, they are really aggressive and when older will bite my hand and kill most killable fish".
They say, are those plants real?"
"the one in the corner is"

Adults:
WOW! That tank is huge! What is that green and red fish?
"a green terror. They are very aggressive"
*shows them delhezi
"eww, it looks like a snake.
"This is freshwater, right?"
ETC

From almost all age groups i get a few questions about the delhezi and green terror. I show how i feed them, they are always like wow and stuff because they are so aggressively feeding.

Lol most ppl dont go in my parents basement (its like another livin room we have the half above ground house(there weird)) but when they do they look into my tank. My sis's friend called my oscars ugly i WAS LIKE WTF GO FALL INTO A HOLE AND NEVER GET FOUND.....

Actually, depending on the filtration, you could definitely get more fish with one senegal in a 39. Maybe an elephant nose or african knife, they'd look nice in there. (Then again, it doesn't really matter any more since the fish died...)

Anyway, when my relatives come over I usually only show a few of them my fish tank. My uncle (who's also into fish) always sees them, and then sometimes I show my cousins, who think they are quite cool.

Actually that was a typo, it was a 30.

I personally gave a guy a swirly in his own tank when he showed me his 55 gallon full of sea monkeys.

I hate how people assume saltwater is better, and ask why I don't have a SW tank.
