How Do You Guys Feel About Animal Experimentation

monkeys only do one sign. and they use their mouth and teeth

it involves them putting a piece of your flesh in their mouth and clamping down on it hard. that is monkey for "get lost"

but I've never seen a monkey do sign language. if anyone has a video, feel free to post it

i'm saying I don't believe monkeys can sign

so obviously that means I've never seen them sign before. otherwise, why would I not believe something my own eyes saw?

i'm totally serious, what would give you the idea that I wasn't?

I need to see proof that monkeys can sign

i'm not saying I can't be wrong, I just don't believe they sign and have never seen it

what does a cgi movie have to do with monkeys signing?

that's a nice video but where is the signing monkey?

that's what i'm saying, monkeys don't sign.

I know apes can sign. but apes are not monkeys, nor were there any monkeys in the Dawn of the apes

I don't know if monkeys can sign, I'm sure A quick internet search would clear it up but I know primates have been learning sign language for decades. That's why I was wondering if you were doing a play on words

edit: I see you already beat me to my point. I caught onto your sneaky ass

all apes are primates

all monkeys are primates

but not all primates can sign or have been learning sign for decades

I found this doing a search

Some scientific publications assert that chimps can be taught sign language and that dolphins use a conceptual "whistle" language, but my reading of the studies -- for whatever that is worth -- is that the evidence is sparse and inconclusive and that there is virtually no scientific support for the hypothesis that animals use or can be taught to use abstract language, whether with signs or noises.

There is actually a Chimpanzee that was Raised Just like a human child and taught REAL sign language , he could communicate perfectly with humans and traveled all around the world. He never knew if he was a real human or chimp sadly.

If you are talking about a monkey with a tail...most likely not.
