How has the coronavirus affected your personal life?

It is also funny that nowadays if people think you are lying they cannot just say it. They plaster euphemisms over the matter to, perhaps, cover their accusatory nature from criticism.

In what material way is “misinformation” or “dsinformation”different from a fancy lie? None.

Can a chart lie?

A modified probability chart is useful in matters of random chance. Does that grant it mystical powers in non-random situations?

No. It shows the effect of totally random events. A leap of faith is required for applicability. People are not cyphers.

Half of our citizens have close to zero faith in our government or these emergency injections. Some will be either forced, or be persecuted. Now you can’t discriminate against known carriers of AIDS, but we can if we suspect you may harbor Covid.

It is reported that minority peoples get Covid easier, longer and worse. This of course means they would also be bigger spreaders of the disease, but there has been no warning or directive about that. I see a push to allow more minority injections, but no push to require them. No suggestion that white folks are less vulnerable. Just that minorities are more.

This is all likely BS, that some “races” will fare worse genetically. There will be some associated reasons like higher poverty, worse diet, drug use, poor sanitation etc.

When our pundits try to make it seem that this is a racial inequity matter, it is no wonder that half the country has decided to quit listening to them completely.

It’s obvious how irritated you are.

I really have to admit that the major effect of Covid on me personally has been irritation from all fronts, Except the actual disease itself.

Dr. Fauci is doing a really crappy job as a persuader on TV.

I watched our preeminent national MD Fauci tell us that, “if the virus is not allowed to replicate it cannot mutate.”

True, But he says that as if it means something important to us, when that horse had already long left the barn. Twice!

He already told us that Mutants Exist.

And for years we have known that if we use so many drugs that we virtually kill off a particular germ, the only thing that survives is the new resistant mutants.

These things are both true at the same time and they do not contradict each other as they might appear on casual observation.

We see Fauci‘s scenario is not possible.

There is no way to stop this virus from replicating because even with 100% vaccination, vaccinations are not 100% effective.

Check that lovely colored probability chart posted previously.

So if alpha perished, are the present vaccines useful? Or did delta “kill it”.

More unending irritation from the pundits.

Just so I can pass along my irritation a little further.

Look at the probability chart for hospitalizations based on vaccination rates shown above, and mentally insert the fact that some of those people will have one of a few variants that do not respond well, you will find that the final totals tend to converge.

The more strong variants, the faster the convergence.

And just look at the WaPo pic above. Scientist say that things HAVE converged & far more rapidly than expected.

Would it have been slower if people had rushed to be vaccinated?

Kinda, except with vaccines, the % of replications lessens. So for those that like math, do the math.

From the same WaPo…

So those “vaccine passports” will be totally worthless. And I was all ready to go buy some more ink for my printer.

Back to the mask…
